You will explore the electric streets of Akihabara, hunt for rare figures in Nakano Broadway, visit the Kyoto Manga Museum, and spend a full day at Universal Studios Japan with exclusive access to Super Nintendo World.

Transfer to your hotel in the Shinjuku area. Spend the evening exploring the dazzling lights of Kabukicho, the intimate bars of Golden Gai, or the towering department stores of the world's busiest railway station.

Begin your day at the serene Meiji Shrine, nestled within a peaceful forest in the heart of Tokyo. End the day in Shibuya by crossing the world-famous Shibuya Scramble and taking in breathtaking views from the Shibuya Sky observation deck.

Then back to Odawara station, board the Shinkansen bullet train for a peaceful ride to Kyoto in the evening

Enjoy the day at Arashiyama Bamboo forest, but this place has so much more than just bamboo! Walk along the park with it's great vistas for the gorge below, stroll along the river eating ice cream, and discover all the hidden shops and alleyways in the Arashiyama town. It feels like every day is a festival there! Optional: Take the scenic train to Kameoka an sail down the river back to Arashiyama! (Extra cost per person)

Day 7: Universal Studios Japan & Super Nintendo World

Travel to Osaka for a full day at Universal Studios Japan. Experience Super Nintendo World with the Mario Kart ride, explore the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, and visit the anime-themed attractions including areas inspired by One Piece, Demon Slayer, and more.

Day 8: Travel to Tokyo & Akihabara

Start early at Fushimi Inari Taisha to walk through thousands of vermillion torii gates winding up the mountainside, ideally before the crowds arrive. Board the Shinkansen bullet train for the return journey to Tokyo. Check into your Tokyo hotel and spend the rest of your day shopping in Akihabara, checking out the maid cafes, and electronics stores!

Day 9: Asakusa & Tokyo SkyTree

Explore the historic Asakusa district, visiting the magnificent Senso-ji temple, Tokyo's oldest Buddhist temple, and browsing Nakamise shopping street for traditional souvenirs. Cross the Sumida River to the towering Tokyo SkyTree for panoramic views of the entire city. End your evening in Ginza, Akihbara, or explore izakaya culture on Hoppy Street back in Asakusa.

Day 10: Ueno & Ikebukuro Anime District

Spend the morning in Ueno Park, home to several excellent museums including the Tokyo National Museum and the charming Ueno Zoo. Walk through the old-town atmosphere of Yanaka, one of Tokyo's best-preserved traditional neighborhoods, with its winding lanes, independent shops, and the atmospheric Yanaka Cemetery. In the evening, enjoy Ikebukuro's Otome Road and Sunshine City, the anime and manga hub for character goods, butler cafes, and the Pokemon Center Mega Tokyo. Visit the Animate flagship store.

Day 11: Departure

Depending on your flight time, enjoy a final morning in Tokyo for last-minute shopping or sightseeing. Transfer to Narita or Haneda Airport for your departure flight. Sayonara, Japan!
